Cherry Sauce for Ham Steaks
Description
Add spice and a touch of vinegar to preserves for a quick cherry sauce for ham.Ingredients
- * 2 Cook's® Bone-in Ham Steaks (about 1 pound each)
- * 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- * 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- * 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- * 1-12 ounce jar Bing Cherry Preserves
Preparation
- Combine preserves, vinegar, cinnamon and nutmeg in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
- Prepare ham steaks according to package directions. Serve cherry sauce over ham.
