Portioned Hams

Product Description
Cook's Bone-In Portion Hams are now fully cooked! This means they may be eaten cold or heated. The ham only needs to be heated through if serving warm. Please note the NEW instructions listed below.

Cook's Portioned Hams are smaller than Cook's Half Hams because the center steaks have been removed. These smaller Portions are a great value for authentic, great tasting bone-in ham flavor. You have the option of purchasing either a Shank or Butt Portion Ham.

Ingredients
CURED WITH: Water, Dextrose, Salt, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Nitrite.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS
Cook’s Bone-In Portion Hams are fully cooked and ready to eat, or you may heat them using the following directions.

Oven
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Remove all packaging materials (including clear “button” on bone of ham). Place ham, cut side down, on rack in shallow roasting pan; cover loosely with aluminum foil.

2. Heat approximately 20 to 25 minutes per pound until heated through.

3. Remove ham from oven and let stand, covered, 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Glazing Ham
1. If you intend to glaze your ham, remove ham from the oven 1/2 hour before end of heating time.

2. Prepare your favorite ham glaze and apply evenly over the surface of the warm ham.

3. Heat glazed ham uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes.

Leftovers
Cook's ham is a great addition to any meal. Serve with eggs for a morning breakfast. Slice and add to your favorite salad, soup, and sandwiches. Prepare a variety of sauces and serve with vegetables and don't forget kabobs, casseroles, stir fry and pasta dishes.
